April 22, 2019

Wendy called the meeting to order at 5:40 PM.
There was no public participation.
Business Requiring Approval
Charles moved and Mike seconded the approval of the March 25, 2019 minutes. There was one correction. APPROVED.
Bob moved and Kerry seconded the approval of the monthly payment to Thurston Foods, Inc. in the amount of $8540.02. APPROVED.
Finance Committee
Jane shared the monthly financial dashboard and a 3rd Quarter budget-to-actuals comparison.
HR Report
There were no changes in staffing this month.
Organizational Updates
Liz shared the results of this year’s SAT scores and her plans for the work that will need to be done. There was a discussion concerning other measures of success and the support that teachers may need in the future.
Old Business
Bob reminded members to share any ideas they had in Board recruitment. Wendy reminded members that the Rock-to-Rock Earth Day Ride is this Saturday, April 27.
New Business
Bob moved and Charles seconded that the Board move into Executive Session to discuss budget development in the absence of an Executive Director. APPROVED.
After a twenty-minute discussion, Errol moved and Kerry seconded ending the Executive Session. APPROVED.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 PM.
Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, our next Board of Directors Meeting will be held on May 20, 2019 at 5:30pm in Room 103
