REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK SERVICES
Common Ground High School is accepting Qualifications for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) firm to provide bidding and construction phase services for the construction of a new approximately 14,000sf classroom building and related site improvements. The selection process will include, but not be limited to, a firm’s proven performance to manage projects of similar scope and complexity and deliver them on time and within budget. Completed Qualifications packages will be accepted until 3:00 PM, September 17, 2013 at the office of the Executive Director of Common Ground High School.
All responding firms must be prequalified by the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and shall provide a current Prequalification Certificate as issued by DAS confirming its status in the classification of Construction Manager at Risk, Group C. This Project and work performed under this RFQ will be subject to the State of Connecticut Prevailing Wage Laws.

PRESUBMISSION MEETING AND SITE VISIT
A pre-submission meeting for interested firms is scheduled for September 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Common Ground High School, 358 Springside Avenue. Respondents are encouraged to attend the Prebid Meeting at the site. Firms should not contact school employees to access the facility at any other times throughout the process.
