NEW HAVEN — Senator Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., and Environmental Protection Agency officials walked by Common Ground High School’s organic farm, past its biodiesel-fueled tractor and through its 100 percent clean energy building to present the principal and students with environmental awards Friday.
“At EPA we care very much about sustainability and what you’re doing here,” said Curt Spalding, New England Regional Administrator from the EPA. “And this is something the president of the United States cares very much about.”
