Students, Parents, Neighbors voices heard in Bus Route Change

We raised our voices, and CT Transit listened! Starting August 26th — in time for the new school year — the 243-B bus will pass by Common Ground on the way to and from downtown New Haven, dropping off students right at our bus stop. Students can now take any 243-B Bus directly from downtown to get to Common Ground, and will not need to spend an extra 10-15 minutes travelling through the West Rock neighborhood before getting to school Thanks to all the Common Ground students and parents, and neighbors in West Rock, who signed petitions, used social media, and participated in community meetings to help improve bus service for our students and neighbors. See the new bus schedule here.
