Meredith came to Common Ground in 2013 as a resource tutor and teaching assistant. After managing the math and reading summer academic program, she transitioned into her new role. As the Student Support Assistant she tracks student academic progress and attendance, making necessary connections between the school’s support team, parents, teachers and students. She also continues to work one-on-one with students as a tutor during our school wide support period, in resource classes, and in the after-school homework center. Prior to coming to Common Ground Meredith graduated from New York University with a major in Sociology which focused on race identity and food cultures. She has also worked with various non-profit organizations coordinating and facilitating programming for teens.
