The Census is an extremely important endeavor for our City and our country. Not only does the Census generate important statistics that communities and businesses rely on in day-to-day operations and strategic planning, but Census data also guides the distribution of over $675 billion of federal funding.
New Haven is starting work now to make sure our communities are counted accurately. It will take participation from every neighborhood and every industry to ensure that each resident of New Haven receives the message that filling out the census is safe, easy, and important.
