Two New Haven schools with environmental themes won green recognition Thursday from the state.
Several state agencies—including education, environmental, public health, and construction services—honored the two schools at a ceremony in Hartford.
They gave the schools—Common Ground High School, a not-for-profit charter school; and Barnard Environmental Studies Magnet School, a K-8 run by the public school system—annual “Green Ribbon” awards for environmental consciousness. Read the full article at New Haven Independent’s website.
