Dear School Families,
We are almost at the mid-point of the school year, and the fall semester is rapidly drawing to a close. Because of the weather (Hurricane Sandy and snow), we have had to make some changes to the school calendar, and I wanted to make sure that you all had the correct schedule information for our transition days. Please review the following schedule closely:
- Thursday, Jan. 24. Final day of fall semester. Full day (8-3:05)
- Friday, Jan. 25. Faculty only day. No School for students.
- Monday, Jan. 28. Benchmark testing. School day runs from 8 to noon.
- Tuesday, Jan. 29. Benchmark testing. School day runs from 8 to noon.
- Wednesday, Jan. 30. All school Health Fair. School day runs from 8 to noon.
- Thursday, Jan. 31. First day spring semester. Full day (8-3:05).
Please note that attendance is mandatory January 28-30. Lunch will be served on those days.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we avoid future school closings and calendar changes. And remember, closings and delays are reported on all major news channels and websites.
